The Information Technology Branch (IITB) faces structural limitations in forecasting and financial visibility, driven by unpredictable service demand, reliance on external stakeholders, and financial reporting models that do not clearly reflect the true cost of IM/IT activities. To address these challenges, IITB launched the Activity-Based Costing (ABC) initiative to better understand the cost of services and align resources with ESDC programs and priorities. The initiative introduces standardized activities and allocates both salary and non-salary costs to these activities, improving insight into how IM/IT services support departmental outcomes. | Contrat gouvernemental · CanPursue
