HF Monitor Receiver Systems Replacement Project
Ricky Anand Defence Major Projects Sector Public Works and Government Services Canada 819-956-1075
_________________________________________________________________ _____________
The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement to replace a number of old HF Monitor Receiver Systems under the HF Monitor Receiver Systems Replacement Project. The project consists of the replacement of eight legacy analogue HF Monitor Receiver systems deployed at six DND stations and two support facilities. The current HF Monitor Receiver systems are roughly 25 years old, and most of their components are beyond the economic repair cycle. The current systems are used to guard and monitor various key HF frequencies for radio calls from aircraft. DND's intent is to replace the legacy analogue HF Monitor Receiver systems such that it could support current mission requirements, with the scalable potential for expansion to meet future needs.
This requirement corresponds to GSIN 58, Electrical and Electronic Equipment components.
Hardware and Engineering and Installation Services along with Training will be required at various locations within Canada. The project must be completely delivered within one year time.
This requirement is subject to Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT). This requirement has no security requirement.
