Description

This bid solicitation is being issued to satisfy the requirement of the Office of the Secretary to the Governor General for Task-Based Informatics Professional Services (TBIPS) under the TBIPS Supply Arrangement (SA) method of supply. It is intended to result in the award of one (1) contract. Only selected TBIPS SA Holders currently holding a TBIPS SA for Tier 1 in the National Capital Region (NCR) under the EN578-170432 series of SAs are invited to compete. SA Holders may not submit a bid in response to this bid solicitation unless they have been invited to do so. However, should an uninvited SA Holder wish to be invited, it may contact the Contracting Authority to request an invitation at any time prior to five business days before the published bid closing date, and an invitation will be made to that SA Holder unless it would not be consistent with the efficient operation of the procurement system. In no circumstance will such an invitation require Canada to extend a bid closing date. The following SA Holders have been initially invited to bid on this requirement. Where additional invitations are made during the bid solicitation process, it may be that they are not reflected in a solicitation amendment:

The OSGG is looking to modernize the way it carries out its mandate by enabling a more mobile workplace and by moving toward digital processes where possible. The GCDOCS content management system will be leveraged as a key enabler to achieve this objective. The OSGG GCDOCS Implementation Project aims to design an environment that ensures information is accessible from one window, is accurate and up-to-date and is accessible via any device. The overall objective of this project is to build an information architecture that makes sense to OSGG employees, one that enhances the current information requirements and EDRMS experience, and which allows employees to access all legacy content by migrating such content from the Shared drive, eDocs (RM/DM) and Foremost. The Contractor must provide the required resources to support the OSGG with the implementation of GCDOCS. The GCDOCS implementation Project will require the following resources:

one (1) Level 2 IM Architect; and one (1) level 3 Data Conversion Specialist

While all aspects of project management and project coordination will be the responsibility of the OSGG, the Contractor must provide all the necessary services required to assist in successfully implementing the GCDOCS solution to all users at the OSGG. The GCDOCS Implementation Project will be performed starting October 2018 through to March 2020.
