STRUCTURAL STEEL E0209-140688/A
For the supply and delivery of steel products for all Government of Canada departments and agencies located in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba as required during the period of the Supply Arrangement (SA) and in accordance with the specifications detailed in the Request for Proposals issued against the SA.
A Supply Arrangement is a non-binding arrangement between Canada and a pre-qualified supplier that allows departments and agencies to award contracts and solicit bids from a pool of pre-qualified suppliers for specific requirements within the scope of the SA. The intent of a SA is to establish a framework to permit expeditious processing of individual bid solicitations, which result in legally biding contracts for the goods and services described in those bid solicitations.
The SA is not in itself a Contract, but rather a base document that forms part of the future Request for Proposal (RFP) and resulting contract. When issued a SA, the supplier accepts the obligation to provide the specified goods in accordance with the SA, under any resulting contract that may be awarded. Any resulting contract will be established as a result of a RFP. These RFPs will specify the specific requirements, and may contain additional terms and conditions that the supplier must meet.
SAs resulting from this RFSA are for the use of all Government of Canada departments and agencies located in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
See bid solicitation for further details on this procurement process.
Period of the Supply Arrangement: From 01 November 2013 (or if issued afterwards, from date of issue) to 31 October 2016 inclusive.
