Description

On May 20th, 2003, a case of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE), commonly known as "mad cow disease", was confirmed in an animal born and raised in Canada. BSE.For the sole purpose of this Annex A, "carcass" means any carcass of a bovine 30 months of age or over, the age of which has been confirmed by the CFIA, corresponding to the objectives and requirements of the National Safety Program.
