5P420-18-0064/A – TCH Beaver Valley Ponding Phase 2, Mounds Avalanche Berm, Beaver Hill Rock Scaling - Glacier National Park Requirement: The work generally consists TCH safety and winter reliability improvements including construction of a roadside vehicle ponding area (Beaver Valley Phase 2 km 5.9-7.0), an earthen static defence structure (Mounds km.19.9-20.0), as well as rock face scaling and catchment cleaning (Beaver Hill km.12.3-13.0). Approximate quantities include 236,900m3 Type D excavation, 5,914m2 reinforced slopes, and 24,640 tonnes Well-Graded Base Course. See specifications and drawings for further details on the requirement of this project. Project Timeline: The Contractor shall perform and complete all onsite Work by October 10, 2019.
