REISSUE OF BID SOLICITATION This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number 201803519 dated February 29, 2018 with a closing date of March 20, 2018 at 14:00 EDT. Notice of Proposed Procurement Item Required: Shoes, Oxford, Black, Male & Female The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for a firm quantity of 420 Shoes, Oxford, Black, Male and 60 Shoes, Oxford, Black, Female in accordance with RCMP Purchase Description PD-PC-47 dated 2017-07-28 and viewing sample. The requirement includes 3 options of 100 Shoes, Oxford, Black, Male & Female each which can be exercised within 24, 36 and 48 months of contract award, respectively. The requirement also includes "as and when requested" Flexible Stock up to 250 Shoes, Oxford, Black, Male & Female and “as and when requested” special sizes up to 30 Shoes, Oxford, Black, Male & Female which can both be ordered within 60 months of contract award. The Purchase Description can be found attached to the Request for Proposal (RFP). The RCMP viewing sample will only be available to bidders that are requested to submit a pre-contract award sample. This requirement is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) This requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian Goods (See CFTA, Article 503, paragraph 4). The responsive bid with the lowest total evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract (1 contract only). The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. The Ineligibility and Suspension Policy and integrity clauses are being incorporated in RCMP contracting activities as outlined in this solicitation. Bids must be submitted only to Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Bid Receiving Unit by the date, time and place indicated on page 1 of the bid solicitation. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada. The bid solicitation documents contain all the requirements relating to the bid solicitation. Any other information or documentation provided to or obtained by a bidder from any source are not relevant. Bidders should not assume that practices used under previous contracts will continue, unless they are described in the bid solicitation. Bidders should also not assume that their existing capabilities meet the requirements of the bid solicitation simply because they have met previous requirements. It is the Bidder's responsibility to obtain clarification of the requirements contained in the bid solicitation, if necessary, before submitting a bid.
